  • Also, If anyone is interested the film is The Yogis of Tibet: A Film for Posterity -
    directed by Phil and Jo Borack.
  • What did people think of the "Yogis of Tibet" film, those who've seen it? The ads I saw made it look like one of the Yogis was levitating, but it turned out all he was doing was jumping in the air and crossing his legs into the meditation position.

    People should be aware that tummo isn't a parlor trick, to be undertaken lightly. It's raising the Kundalini, and so should only be done with proper preparation (can take years) under the guidance of a live, in-person teacher. Don't try this at home, kids.
  • Tummo isn't taught at any of the offline Tibetan centres that I've had experience of myself.

    Its a practice which is only taught to people doing 3 or more years in closed retreat.
