My Connection to that Star

I was watching a TV program about gravity, and what I took away from it was how everything in the universe has an effect on everything else... we are where we are, and what we are, because of where everything else in the universe is. Take one star out of the equation, and everything is affected. Life as we know it is exactly the way it is because of the effects of everything... so that bush outside is exactly the way it is for the same reason I am who I am... change the equation in any way, then who knows, maybe my mouth or hands could be a different size, so then would be my coffee cup, and the coffee beans may have tasted differently.

Sorry if this was just mindless rambling to you, but it really showed me the universal connection we have with everything

  • Thats not the only connection. We ARE that star. :hair:

  • On the micro: Butterfly effect.
  • @ihepf Ah your right, I had seen this video before and just forgot about it... it does help make that connection as well. Thank you
  • I love astronomy, if I was smarter I'd want to major in it. This is how my brain thinks at times.

"That makes me smile" lol, yes, me too! :)
  • @Telly03 If I am not wrong you have had a realization about dependent origination. The grass outside exists because of the rain which exists because of the sun. If you take one away or change them, there will be a change to everything in the cycle. Everything with mass has gravity, even you do, so I think it is interesting to think that yes the entire universe is interconnected.
