    The title of this article is misleading. DNA doesn't change if you do regular 20 minute exercises, nor will the genes be activated or deactivated by this kind of activity. Other things change, the smaller components of the cell, like actine and myozine fibers and so on, which, will increase or decrease in lenght (and/or quantity).
    Also, when talking about muscles, exercise and metabolism in the same sentence you talk about the increase in energy consumption ( burning fat, proteins and glucose for the body to keep up).
