Last night was frozen chicken nuggets, tater tots and corn with mint chocolate chip ice cream after.

Tonight hot dogs, saurkraut, baked beans and potato chips.

The kids are really happy

    You have a Natural Grocery store in Denver, don't you? (Formerly: Vitamin Cottage) In their frozen section, they have all kinds of ready-made pot stickers: veggie, chicken, and I think, pork. Those are popular, with tamari sauce and green onion.

    I have always had something against mint and chocolate together, they just don't seem right as combination :zombie: But it all sounds like food from my school canteen, nostalgia :)

    the UK has just launched a new product "chocolate and Philly"

    It's caerphilly cream cheese and chocolate mixed.
    Apparently, kids began combining the flavours and loved it - Caerphilly got to hear about it - and launched the product! the advert line is "chocolate and 'philly? Don't be so silly!"
    But the lady dissing it in the advert (Posh lady-of-the-manor, hooray-Henry countryside, green wellies type, played by Jennifer Saunders) tries it - and can't stop eating it....
    @ThailandTom will know precisely who I'm talking about......Absolutely Fabulous, dahling.....

    lol, if you ever find this advert then please post it up here for me please, thanks. I use to watch French and Saunders often as a kid, also absolutley fabulous. I can imagine her in the advert already :p Still, chocolate and cheese... Strange.

    Haven't seen that product here in Australia as yet - Jennifer Saunders forehead isn't moving much in that video ... think that is more from botox than anythinbg she has ingested though !

    Jennifer Saunders is on drugs, because she had a severe bout of breast cancer.

    she is still on medication, but she said in a radio interview that the effects make her skin pasty, tight and transluscent - like clouded glass.
    It might be botox.
    but it doesn't matter what it is - she's funny and brave, because there was no publicity or announcement about her cancer. she retreated into private life, told only her closest friends and got on with it.

    sorry - didn't mean to derail the thread, but it just riles me when people make off-the-cuff remarks without knowing anything about the person..... :o

    The term is threadjacking now I think @federica lol. I never knew she had cancer, well all the best to her, I do not know her out of character but she seems like a strong person. Good luck to her, now I guess back to the OP.

    No intention to offend - certainly to rile anyone ... just very obvious botox.
    I also enjoy her humour.

    My kids fav food is vegetable minestrone soup .... easy to make and freezer is usually well stocked up.

    Oh those TV dinners are good, but we have some high metabolisms,. If it isn't Hungry Man then it is a snack really. When Tam was 9 and on swim team I could get her 2 McDonalds meals and she ate them both, crazy. She is still tiny, 5'4" and 105 lbs, and eats like crazy. Takes after mom (but I am NOT that kind of size anymore).
