Who wants to meet me in Vegas????

buddhafootbuddhafoot Veteran
edited May 2006 in General Banter
I'm going to be there meeting a friend from the East Coast.

We're going to be practicing some very unBuddhist activities - just so I can finally figure out what to do and what not to do. You see, I'm a very conservative person. So, I consider this a part of my practice.

What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas. Unless you bring it home with you because you need a shot of penicillin or something.

Well I live in Las Vegas so I'm in. I pity the fool who don't meet foot in Vegas.

I had plans to go to Vegas, but now that I know that you will be there, I think I will just stay home.

Honestly...I am in a really bad mood this morning, so picking on you made me feel better! :) Just teasing.....I am in a really bad mood, and I knew that joking around with you would make me smile. Actually, it would be a blast to meet you guys in Vegas, but I won't be able to.

    Sweet...thanks.

When are you going to Vegas? Just remember the Five Precepts while you are there, especially this one:

"The final precept discourages indulgence in alcoholic drinks and recreational drugs. The Buddha explained that such substances cloud the mind and can lead to the breaking of the other precepts because judgement is impaired and dangerous emotions can be unleashed. Instead, the Buddha encouraged us to be mindful of what we think, say and do."

I said you could make fun of me - not ruin my trip :)

Wait...do you have to follow the five precepts while you are in Vegas? Maybe Vegas doesn't count.

Our company will be there for a trade show, but not until October. Have a few birthday drinks for me while you are there since the dates that you are going are close to my bday.

Both of those pictures in the posts are from this same movie?

And I think my husband actually had me watch parts of that movie, and I don't think I liked it very much!

    Okay, my friends...

I will be in Sin City this weekend. Wish me luck.

I don't know what that means exactly when one is going to Vegas - but wish me it anyway.

    I will bring back pics.

You don't look very drunk to me. I was expecting something from the gutter or the drunk tank. What d'you do? Spend all your time sightseeing? C'mon, man, we want to see some dirt.

    Hmm...

Why do you think it was possible for me to go to Vegas with another guy? Why do you think my g/f allowed that? She even knew titty-bars might be on the agenda (given that there were a couple of other guys we were hooking up with). Why do you think that is, dear Brigid?

Because she knows me. I did spend one day drinking some of these yummy slushy drinks. I think I lived on them one day.

    Lots of walking.

    Some gambling.

I opted out on the titty-bar.

    She knows me too well.

    No dirt here.

At least that I can remember.

    -bf

Oh... I did take a picture of a girl's butt one day that she wasn't really cool with. But I told her that as I was doing it.

Bf - you look different! I thought you had long hair?? Did you cut it off, or am I just crazy?

    What does your t-shirt say?
  • buddhafootbuddhafoot Veteran
    edited May 2006
    Me?

    Long hair?

You do have me confused with someone else. I haven't had long hair since the 80's. Never a mullet though! I have the same old mug I've always had.

The t-shirt is one I got from a Reverend Horton Heat concert I went to. Love that guy.
