    :)
Joshua (Yeshua) was as common then as it is now, if not more so.

What about his name, "Emanuel"? Why was he given that name?

Bones in the tomb? Clearly he must have left something behind when he ascended into heaven.
  • Personally I don't quite know why people in all religions tend to be so intent on finding things of this nature, maybe it is just me but it serves no relevance to my religious practice. If they did find a tomb where there were bones, how could they even prove that it was the son of God?

Once again the promise of the title to a story disappoints me. I was aware of the previous tomb mentioned as "The tomb of Jesus" because a friend talked me into seeing the movie at a church hall. Then I did some research online because producers are notorious for leaving out criticisms. Go to http://www.losttombofjesuschrist.com/

As for this one, the identifying of it as a Christian tomb relies on interpreting an abstract design as a fish, and we all know that's a sure sign of early Christianity? Well, it could be early Christians buried there, which if proved would be interesting but we already know early Christians lived in Jeruselum. However, the producer wants you to see a fish so the design is turned sideways, but if you turned the design so you can actually read the writing the way it's supposed to be seen, you see a lamp, with a very accurate depiction of the flame on top.

The film will be marketed and sold and shown to Christian church groups everywere. Shame it's not real archeology.
