Ask me (almost) any question.
Yes, before you point it out, this pretty much is a rip off of B5C's "ask an atheist" thread. I have nothing important to do at the moment and want to see how many people will actually comply.
Ask me almost any question and I will answer it either by text or I will make a video response. It can be about practically anything: religion, some political, movies, music, etc. My only request is don't ask really personal questions (like what my address is) or heavy political ones.
Ask away...maybe.

Is concept of "the Force" something an atheist could embrace?

Are zebras black with white stripes, or white with black stripes? I've always wanted to know that
Don't let the racial enigma of a zebra cause you to lose sleep at night. It's like asking if pop tarts are so hot that they're cool or if they're so cool that they're hot. I think it's best to remain agnostic about the issue.
What do I have in me pockets?
It could be a gun, but I would prefer if you were happy to see me.
What is your neighbor's address
I honestly don't know. In the twenty one years of living, I actually don't know what my neighbors address's are. I guess I'm not that sociable...
What should I watch?
What do you mean? As in movies? I would say Battle Royale, but I'm biased because that's my favorite movie. There is Super Size Me...but I wouldn't really take it too seriously. Still it's interesting. Something else to consider is an HBO miniseries called Angels in America. It's really good.
What came before the Big Bang?
Honestly, who knows? It could have been another universe that compressed and re-expanded or our universe could have been created by a person who went through a black hole, survived and decided to create their own universe and call them self "God". Maybe nothing existed before and we are here by means of a meaningless accident? Our minds are too limited to ever truly know.
If you don't believe in "God", or A god, per se, what about something like "The Force" in Star Wars? A non-personal, yet seemingly altruistic force that pervades everything without assuming any human-like characteristics, but is there for those who wish to draw upon it for support in their quest to spread goodness, light and truth (helpful, it is, mmmm... Lol).
Is concept of "the Force" something an atheist could embrace?
I wouldn't see why not.
Something that some people don't realize, is that "atheist" simply means not to believe in any god. There are plenty of atheists who believe in things like
reincarnation, an afterlife and magic; all without believing in a supernatural or metaphysical being. Conversely, there are actually theists who don't believe in an afterlife! Not in a sense of "death is a grave and we will be resurrected for our judgement later", but once you are dead...you're dead.
Personally, I see a "force" being more likely than an actual deity. I'm starting to lean more towards the notion of rebirth and I think that if rebirth does happen, then it is because of a force surrounding us and not because of a god; which I don't believe in.
What did your face look like before your parents were born?
If I could look at myself through non-existence, I would probably look like the "U MAD" troll.
Keep the questions coming!
