Recommended reading for young people?

Both of my son's are interested in Buddhism. The oldest is 15 and is starting to be able to grasp the more difficult topics, but the 9 year old is also interested and I'm trying to find some good reading resources (books specifically, e-books or "real" books) for the younger one. Any suggestions?

Maybe Cheri Huber. She is an adult author but each page has a heading and a lesson is given often with cartoon artwork. In review it may be ok. Of course some have adult problems like dating and self image.
