At the bar I frequent I've gotten to know the regulars, and last Thursday I noticed that one lady looked especially nice that day. (No, I'm not into her, she seems much older than me) I couldn't tell what she did different, but she just looked younger and generally looked better. I was going to point that out and give her a compliment, but the overall conversation in group distracted me. So I just let it go.
Throughout the night, she was more quiet than usual. She looked down and as if something was bothering her. So near the end of the night, there was a point when we were facing each other across the table and I gave her the compliment, thinking that she seemed like she needed to hear something nice that day.
As we were all leaving the bar. We were all saying our good byes and I was going in for a half-hug (we're not close friends), but she said, "you can do better than that, I want a real hug." So I gave her a real hug.
It reminded of a saying that says something like you shouldn't hesitate to do something nice. I felt great that night. I did my good deed of the day, and it seemed like it really cheered her up.

If so you should let us know or give a roll eyes smiley etc etc.
Typing it doesn't really get it across..
ie: That was really funny.
The above statement could have been meant as sarcastic but how would one know without the rolly eyes or a "PS: e-Sarcasm!!"
:P
If that was not e-Sarcasm..
Really? :P
