Aussie football this weekend.......
So will it be the Crows or the Dockers tonight? What about the Pies or the Eagles tomorrow night?
What about the NRL........
I think the Crows will beat Freo pretty easily this evening. I know the Dockers were good last week but I can't imagine them backing it up. Adelaide at home.
I hope West Coast beat Collingwood tomorrow night but I fear not.

As committed as I am as a supporter, Crows are not good enough for finals, this year and I actually agree with Eddie McGuire ( now that is a first !!) that we had an easy run due to the draw in the second half of the season.
I hope Eagles win tomorrow too and I think they might just do it. I love my footy ... can you tell !!
You guys were good in the 2nd half last night but Hawthorn next week might be a step too far I reckon.
I really hope West Coast win tonight too. I don't particularly dislike Collingwood but would prefer the Eagles to get up.
So Sydney v Eagles and Hawks v Crows for a spot in the GF next week! Bring it on....
What? Who? Rules? Whaaa?
Aussie rules is pretty simple - compared to NFL, I think..
Welcome to Australia ... hope you enjoy life here.
I am the same when i try and watch rugby union. I just can't follow the rules.
And the whistle always went and people just kept on running, ignoring it.
I'll have to go to a local game one day with a mate, and get him to explain it as we watch.
If a player takes a mark or gets a free kick for an infringement against him, he can continue to play on if it is advantageous to do so. That is why you'll see someone who has taken a mark out on his own (and the whistle blows for that mark) will just keep running or kick it as he doesn't want to wait around and maybe lose any advantage his team has.
Also, they play an advantage rule in Aussie Rules i.e. if a team gets a free kick (penalty) but a different player from the same team has the ball, he is allowed to continue playing on in order to keep the game flowing.
If the opposition has the ball or it's in a neutral position when the whistle blows, the umpire will make the player take the kick or handpass at the place of the infringement.
Confused yet????
