Need help working with large amounts of physical pain and bodily sickness.

I feel the only things that help are Vipassana, relaxing into it as much as possible, and to not let the mind go to thinking about the pain, just staying with the sensation.

Can anyone speak from experience?

  • Videogames. They can be a good distraction from the pain, and can be therapeutic. There are a huge, nay astronomical, variety of videogames out there, even for people who don't usually play videogames.

    Some hospitals use videogames for recovering patients to help them deal with pain.
