I took an energizing walk outside... in itself doesn't illicit pride, but I have putting off doing this, and finally did so.

I can't say it was pride necessarily, but I took note that I reacted much better to a situation than I would have a few months ago and was thankful for my new-found patience, thanks to Buddhism. I was in the middle of typing a long, important email and my 4 year old asked me to play. I told him I could play in a few minutes, as I was almost done, and he walked over and shut off my computer. Then he laughed and ran away. We had a quick talk about why it's bad to do that, but I didn't get angry. And I also realized that I was part of the problem, because he did it once when I was watching something online and I laughed at him for doing it.

....remained patient with a work colleague (after an initial spurt of frustration) when he questioned something in a report I sent him that I thought was clear.

Turns out his query was perfectly legitimate.

    Lesson learned :o
