Trance Music!

Alright so lately I've been getting more and more into an Electronic Music genre known as Trance. Now there are so many sub-genres of Trance that I'm not even going to bother listing them. I've been getting more and more into futurism myself (I just find it fascinating and I seem to connect to it) And I wasn't really looking for music to fit with my new interests. But I was browsing through youtube videos, just randomly clicking one after another in the "related videos" bar and came across a sad trance mix.

Though to me it did not sound sad. Instead it sounded more hopeful and inspiring than anything else. I'll post some songs, tell me what you think, and maybe even post some more of your own if you like it!

And the only one with any real lyrics

down? how so.. I feel really quite fine lol. Today had been a busy day but I am content. I am not the same Tom you once had conversations with, I have had a few eye openers and understood a few things. I am not filled with joy neither am I down right now my friend, don't worry about me, worry about yourself and those around you.

Humm dunno, your post just seemed a tad negative is all, maybe I'm just misreading it :P
  • Maybe, I am not feeling negative... If someones car breaks down they are sad and angry, however the people to fix the car are happy. It depends on what kind of perspective you see the situation I guess. I have taken more recently a more 'hardcore' type of buddhist practice if you will. Things like grasping and attachment seem to simple and there in front of me, people delve in them day to day, maybe I should just leave them to it?

Don't try to catch the leaves as they fall. Let them slip through your fingers.

It's supposely progressive house but I can't handle the fine distinctions in these genres. This is James Reid/Blue Amazon from the nineties. I work with James and this is my fave track of his.

Zayl - Love the last track in your list for its ideas. Some naff moments but it's good stuff.
  • Hmm. I don't get how the links are displayed. Here's the code to get there.

All good songs posted so far!

@Florian yes, there are so many genres and sub-genres and sub-sub-genres out there that it gets crazy. And I had to open some of the other videos up in another tab to get them to play in youtube.

@leonbasin oh yes, me too :D

  • I used to love Trance. When are you gonna play some Dota by Bass Hunter honey?!

I actually like stuff from that silly scando "Avici" although the title his choosen is very foolish. I hate to think where he is going after this life.....
