I'm putting this in the "beginners" forum 'cause I believe many of the not-so-beginners have probably already read this.
Getting back to my Theravada roots, I've come across a book I'd not read. But it is one that I believe might be of interest and value to many beginners.
"Everything Is Teaching Us"
A Collection of Dhammatalks by Ajahn ChahA very basic, down-to-earth explanation of many of the fundamentals of Buddhism. While from a Theravada perspective, it still deals with what is mostly the foundational aspects of Buddhism.
