Requesting prayers for animals in Nepal's Dashain festival

The Dashain festival in Nepal involves the slaughter of thousands of animals; Lama Zopa Rinpoche and staff have sent out a letter addressing this issue, and requesting prayers and practices. There is also some information on their animal rescue center in Nepal (unfortunately, full-up right now) and what kinds of help are needed there. Right now they have 35 goats and 2 sheep
