In case any of you were missing me (Go on, you know you do! :tonguec: ) I've now successfully moved house, and the PC is now unpacked and plugged in. It's still a little chaotic here as we're still sorting things out and unpacking, so my visits will be sporadic for a while. The new home is fantastic- we now have a 100' garden to spread out in, and every new discovery is just amazing. The area where I am is much quieter and relaxing, and you wouldn't believe the wildlife that we get in our back yard! Since we arrived here, we've seen a fox sleeping in the garden, large frogs, stag beetles, and we've also adopted a neighbourhood stray cat that our kitties took a shine to. See you all on the forums soon...:woowoo:

    Sounds wonderful, Padawan.

There is a terrible bit of doggerel which, despite its naffness, I have loved ever since I saw it on a plaque in a garden 50 years ago:
The kiss of the sun for pardon.
The song of the birds for mirth.
One is nearer God's heart in a garden
    Than anywhere else on Earth.

Apparently it is by: Dorothy Gurney (1858 - 1952)

I can see what Dorothy Gurney meant, Simon. I've never fully appreciated the peacefulness that one gets in the garden before now. I've only been in this house about two weeks, and I already feel as if I've lived here a long time. I truly feel at home here. I'm looking forward to meditating outdoors, weather permitting!

    Enjoy your peace.

I liked that, Simon. I think it's lovely.
