His style is grounded in the suttas, but accessible and easy-to-relate to. Also, he's hilarious.
there is also just something about Ajahn Chah... from the talks that I've read of his, those that other people have narrated, and from the limited video and audio of him... not even Ajahn Brahm can put dhamma in such easy to understand ways like Ajahn Chah.

Both individuals speak in the western context without diluting their respective traditions.
Also for the depth and clarity of meditative experience and application of view with experience.
Gil Fronsdal and Robert Thurman also share some interesting perspectives as well.
Then always there is Adyashanti, who is excellent for self-inquiry and direct consciousness pointing out.
