I know that this is not Buddhist per se, except for the profound moral and ethical implications this book points out. I have read this book literally in less than a day, I couldn't put it down. I ask what are your thoughts regarding the writer (if you have read any of his other books) and what he generally points too as our specific decline as a culture and society. I personally find this writer thought provoking and engaging though he has a propensity to lay bare some very painful but necessary things. Again I know it is not strictly Buddhist but felt compelled to write.
All my best,
Todd
