Life at this moment

hi all,

many of you know I hang out here on a regular basis, and there have been many fiery debates and discussions. I have not been around quite so much because-well read on.

Recently I have been trying to climb the corporate ladder-as there is little (if any) scope for me to get more money and greater prestige than in the position I am (Technical Instructor). I am at the highest position I can be except for this once-in a lifetime opportunity. it has taken the comittee so friggin long just to organise an interview with me and I purchased a monkey-suit from the Salvation Army, just for this! (the suit looked amazing! BTW exact fit! and virtually brand-new)

The situation is not that I am trying to become a big gun or anything remotely "managerial", but I am just wanting to make things easier on my family. This year has particularly difficult. I've had some personal issues, my wife has worked so hard part-time because we have no one to look after our kids (we to a tag-team-match). And my daughter is going for an Audition to the Victorian College of The Arts, tomorrow! if she gets in she will be on her way to becoming a prima ballerina (well the first step anyway-we just tell her she already is!).

So our nerves are just about frazzled with all of the hard work and activity going-on around us.

Please pray/whatever you do, for us-it may help! teehee.

Love to you all and thanks for your support,
If I get the job, I'll send you all an electronic "something" a nice virus or similar, hahaha

cheers!

Richard.

There is no shame, neither should there be any inference of it, when we all want the best we can get for our loved ones. And yes, ok, for ourselves too. Having been on the receiving end of some crud myself, I now find it sunnier and brighter for me than it has been for a long time, and it feels very pleasant, gratifying and - about time too - !!

I wish you everything you all wish for yourselves, in spadesful. Enjoy, and reap the rewards that I sincerely pray will be yours, as you deserve.

    Fede :)

Thank you all for your wishes-I felt the metta falling down upon me and my family.

    okay,
    here's the deal.

She didn't get in. To be brutally honest with you all, my wife and I were more disappointed than her!

She (my daughter) spoke to a friend of hers (best friend) on the phone and I overheard the conversation, She said,
"I've got good and bads news, the bad news is I missed out, but the good news is that I get to go to Marian College!" (our second choice-but a REALLY good school!). So she was actually quite happy about that. She will try again this time next year for year 8 -that is if she wants to try again.

I still haven't heard about my job-but I'm not holding my breath...

    cheers!

It's a temporary setback, Xray and things WILL get better. My heart goes out to you and your family. We love you very much, Xray. Don't despair. And give your resilient daughter a big, gentle hug from me.
