Hey has anyone else here ever heard of declassified 50s? era government documents that discussed what the implications of extraterrestrial contact might be? (Not that they made any claims that they had, but it was a think tank like document that sort of conjectured on the possibility? Maybe DOD? )
The reason I bring it up is because it was discussing implications on religion and Buddhism was seen as the religioN to benefit most from contact...
Its a vague memory of something I saw ages ago, but it has always stuck in my memory. Anyone know what I'm talking about? No Google success for me.. too much of a thicket of results.
