Jonathon Livingston Seagull was the first book that changed my life.
The Way of the Peaceful Warrior by Dan Millman was enjoyable for me but his third novel, The Journey of Socrates changed me.
Cheri Huber's essay, One Less Act of Violence inspired me to become a vegetarian before I finished the essay.

I've been thinking about this, but I came to the conclusion that the book that has changed my life, is a book called, "What Dreams May Come," http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/What_Dreams_May_Come. I just recently read it, but it touched me deeply! To the point of tears! Highly Recommended to the seekers of self.
