Rise and Shine Magazine

I've started self-publishing a small, local magazine with (I hope!) thought-provoking, challenging, inspiring content to get people thinking about and discussing important social and existential issues. I thought that, rather than keep it local, i'd put it onto a Facebook page so anyone who stumbles across it can have a read, share their views and discuss / debate with others. Here it is...

    Can I make a comment about the name? 'Rise and Shine' has Christian connotations for me, so it may have them for other people too.

    But that could just be me.

    I got it from 'wakey, wakey, rise and shine!' Was that a Christian thing or was it something else?
