Learn Something New Today through Fiction

Learn something new every day.

My family and I are going on a Mediterranean cruise this summer.
Today we were checking out various places online, google, and in an atlas.
I got sidetracked.

I checked out Sunken R'lyeh (Lovecraft's Cthuluh mythos). I knew it near the center of the South Pacific.
Ends up being Lovecraft placed it nearly dead-on what's called The Oceanic Pole of Inaccessibility. (Or Point Nemo).
Never knew these 'places' really existed.

    This is a vast world. There are many, many places one would not dream of even when one is awake.
