Rashomon

edited December 2006 in Arts & Writings
Ah the works of Akira Kurosawa.. and his favourite actor Mifune, i presume this is taken from teh book of samurai tales.. and its only 1 of many stories.

It was pretty decent, what i thought it demonstrates perfectly is ppls attachement to their own reality and image. You see things how you want to see them.. and use paranoia and apprehension as excuses to change what really happened.

Truth is personal, and its garbage, in other words all ppl are liers.. lol.there is no real truth, only attachment to the truth we want. Even in death it is easy for ppl to be blind to see that they were lieing to themselves.

Kinda already knew all this, but it was just nice to see a movie on this subject for once.
