what does it do for you?
It drowns out the habitual nonsense of my monkey mind. I am barely beginning to use mantra, after a very positive experience a week or so ago. I am (cough cough) 'not the mantra type', if you ask my ego. Not comfortable with . . . whatever that is. So using mantra was a johnny-on-the-spot, it was amazing, and it grew a new little branch on my tree.
To me the mantra 'calls upon' qualities of experience I'm lacking in the moment. Like I said I'm barely beginning to explore, so I could be missing the point.
