Absolutely fascinating. I wanted to see more than the teasing clips provided, but according to the website you have to request specific footage from them and pay a fee. Nothing wrong with that, but I wish the guy would have gone the route of asking for donations instead to fund his efforts and released more of it to the public.

I hear ya. At least it is good to know that the footage exists and is being preserved.
Maybe in the future, it will become more readily accessible to the public.
I liked what he said about wanting to go to Tibet and show the Tibetans film of what life was like before the Chinese took over.
