I was just thinking that girls or ladies are just good at one thing and that is gossip. I had developed many assumptions about ladies that they are chaotic. It does not mean that i admire male gender. I also dislike some behavior of men or boys....
Today i got my tooth treatment from lady dentist. I had severe injury to my teeth due to stone which i chewed during my meal. There was serious problem as some part of my teeth was opened. and inner layer was visible. I was scared and felt very disappointed.
When i got consultancy from that lady dentist. I felt very secure. I found that ladies are more good in nature..they have motherly figure which is most valuable thing in this world which i realized again after long time. Apart from this ladies are also very keen to succeed in career. They have all qualities. She treated my teeth and did all treatment very fine and now there is lot relief.
Today, there is true progress in my spiritual sphere because i was being very sadistic about nature and gender biased. Now i learned to look life in positive manner.

We do tend to gossip, lol. But it isn't really about whoever we are talking about. It's more about ourselves and our lack of confidence and security about who we are. We spend a lot of time comparing ourselves to others in order to feel ok with our place in the world. I'm sure it's the same for men who gossip. It makes us feel better about ourselves to consider the problems others face and talk about them as if we could manage those problems better.
But once someone starts to figure themselves out, that need to compare and talk about others tends to fade. Unfortunately, some people never go through that process and gossip for many decades. I have family members like that, lol.
I'm glad you have had positive experiences that have changed your outlook. Good on you for recognizing it
I heard that federica likes to gossip a lot
Noooo....never! Where didjoo hear that?
It's a dirty rotten lie....!
Mind you.... you know that lot over on the other buddhist site...? Well, you'll never guess, but.....
I love women, a little too much maybe, but they are good at many things, and make the world a more beautiful place I have a 12 year old daughter, she does love her gossip and boy bands and silly frilly things, as she should!
Why 'should' she?
That's sterotyping.... I'm sure you believe if she preferred trucks, a tool-kit and climbing trees, you wouldn't mind a bit.... would you?
Here we go again!
I have a 3 year old niece . she borne on Buddha pornima and she is so close to me. Home without lady members is not home..Basically in India there was biased thinking towards girls but certainly all end up becoming nervous to not have girls in family.
Girls are considered as 'Goddess of prosperity' and it's true.

Nah... not my thread... Just joshing... don't get out your pram, dearest...
Pass the bucket...... :
'my precious!' - only conjures up one image in my mind and it 'wants to kill those horrible little thieving hobbitses, yeessssssss, it doesl my precious'
My little princess is into building lego cities, space ships, trucks and cars with her brothers; it's a shame they have brought out lego for girls now! I think it was better when it was a gender neutral brand... you could still build a lego pram and and coffee shop for your gossiping girly mini figures if you wanted to
...\lol/...
My daughter loves her Legos too! I got her the Minas Tirith set from LoTR last christmas. She just built whatever with it because she lost the instructions, so this year I just got her whatever set I could find that had the most pieces!
The lord of the rings was also a hit with my daughter this christmas! our problem has become of where we put the bloody things after they've built them - honestly all the tops of wardrobes and bookshelves and chests of drawers have become lego alters, and we've got one end of the dining room table with partly constructed stuff.
I thought the purpose of lego was to build something and then you could deconstruct it, only to have the pleasure of rebuilding - no that's not the case with kids it seems - they only want to build things once and then move onto another one because they've done that now! I am sure there is something insightful about human nature there, but I've probably forgotten what it's like to be a child!
