before visit better to give a ring, specially because the Vas season is begun, it is not nice to disturb monks in the centre
i have been there and had a 7 day retreat (without speaking 6 days apart from talking to monk few mints. about my practice and the problem i had during the meditation)
it is a novel experience to stay without speaking to anyone (with other yogis)
the monk can explain dhamma in russian, english, sri lankan, and few other languages
