This article appeared on my feed today and I'd just like to know (in simple basic terms) whether "We" as Buddhists have known this and been right all along, whether Scientists have got an angle on it, or whether it's all a load of pseudo-scientific hogwash, and they're making things up as they go along.
Because much as the title grabbed me, I didn't understand a word of it.....

It's a typical new-age muddle of pseudo-science. This article seems to be mostly about biocentrism, which is one of a number of theories claiming consciousness as the ground of being: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Biocentric_universe
The Wiki article on quantum consciousness is also worth a look: http://rationalwiki.org/wiki/Quantum_consciousness
These theories resemble Hindu teachings in many respects.
Ah, so basically it's a bit of sensationalism, mish-mash tosh, masked as a wonderful ground-breaking discovery... Often known additionally as 'click-bait'.... Thought as much.
Certainly new-age twaddle.
Good, that's that settled. Crack on....
