I can't remember what the name is for those questions ... you know, the one hand clapping things? I know, I am useless
... but here is one for you.
How do you find a needle in a haystack?
I will post my answer in a couple of days.

And that's exactly what is supposed to happen!!
Koans are posed precisely because they eliminate cogitative muddled, unnecessary thought. It's like someone suddenly yelling your name, behind you, startling you out of whatever you are concentrating on, with a sudden and mind-clearing attention.
The trick it to maintain that crystal clarity, for more than a split second....:hrm:
Sounds good! Just let go, go with it and feel it. What is there to be afraid of? Only more thoughts will follow.......:)
Anyone going to have a go at answering it?
:tongue2:
burn it down...?
If there's an answer it's bound to be a dafie..:wtf:
Well it may be daftie but I think it makes sense.
Anyone want to know the answer I came up with?
Look for a pin.
Good -
grief........!
:banghead:
I have a wristband pin-cushion with only one needle on it - every time I go to take a pin out, I find the only blasted needle in there - ergo - if you want to find a needle in a haystack, look for a pin!
Could be metaphysical too ?
As they say, if you go looking for it, you'll never find it.
Let it come to you....
A saying in Italian -
"Che mano non prende, la casa rende -
means:
What the hand cannot find, the house will give back to you....
You'll find it when you least expect it.
But sitting on it is a quick way.....!
