Two shrinks are at a conference. They enter the hallway at the same time. One says to the other, "Hello." The other walks away thinking to himself, "I wonder what he meant by that?"
I don't think it means anything, just for fun. Of course, you do learn little things about one another that in some way make a difference. At least to me. I am fond of certain things and hold them dear. It is nice to know about what others do and it doesn't tend to come up in conversation that readily.
Color? cobalt blue, almost sapphire, my car is that color as are my fountain pens; aqua a close second, both oceanic colors.
Animal? sea turtle, my totem animal, symbol of compassion and of messages from the depths to surface; I swim with them in Hawaii at least once a year and they are gentle and glide with grace.
Place? coral reefs, where I feel most supported and most at home in the whole world. The warm waters, the brilliant colors, all the spectacular life, all the while floating with ease and defying gravity.
Food? Vietnamese, it is crunchy, salty, hot, sweet, fresh, all at once, and fun to eat and fun to make
Reading? Zen poetry, including Chan masters too from the Tang; Ikkyu is my favorite Japanese poet though he wrote in Chinese.
Time? October, when the sun shines brightest here and we have our warmest days, yet there is that hint of autumn and things dying; poignant

Animal: I'm definitely a cat person. Large cats or small cats, they typically represent the nobler aspects of life.
Place: Home, I miss my family and friends.

Reading material: Books, and lots of them.
Time of year: Summer, though each season has it's own beauty. I feel the most alive during the summer.
