I would, however, take the predictions made at the end of the first vid with a grain of salt. The predictions are plausible, but information technology is butting up against the most recently revised version of Moore's Law, which I will summarize in my own words: “Efficiency of microchips will double every two years while production costs will decline by half; but design costs will increase at an exponential rate. Therefore, at some point in time it will no longer be profitable to bother to design the next generation of chips.”
