Hey guys, now that the registration procedures have been simplified, if anyone spots a spam/troll post, please:

(ONE): Alert us immediately by using the alert button at the bottom of the offending post, (white triangle, red outline, exclamation mark in triangle)
and
(TWO): Please resist all temptation to add or make comment. Especially if it seems to be a (human) trolling post, as opposed to a mechanical spam-bot.....

It may take a little while, but they will be dealt with!!

    If you flag a post as Fede described it triggers all sorts of nonsense, including sending me an email which will bring me along quickly if I'm awake and near a computer :D It works quite well and I thank those who use it.

    In case anybody remembers me, I must say that 18 hours of each of my days is taken up right now with work, study, clinicals, nutriment breaks, and chores. If I have a few minutes occasionally to touch bases with NewBuddhist, I really resent having to wade through spam.

    How about putting a 50 question profile sheet out there for people to fill out before they can join?

    I'm remembering a "STRESS LEVEL" survey of 50 questions that I took recently in a battery of tests. Believe me, the mere ten or eleven minutes I took to fill this thing out were greatly rewarding. I must confess, by the way, that I got kinda emotional being confronted by so many different kinds of hardships, deprivations, and traumas that people have to put up with and all the insecurity and fear that attend them.

    These questions however, were crafted in such a way that someone's insincere posturing or mercenery motives could surely be detected. BetCha there are plenty of ways to screen opportunists out scientifically. Incidentally, I woulda loved to snatch a copy of this non-graded assessment exam (especially the reading comprehension sections).

    AnyWho, just a thought. I know there are lots of talented analysts out there.
