What does that exactly mean? What does it consist of?

    Enlightenment is seeing cleary directly the true nature of reality, in that all conditioned things are impermanent, unsatisfactory & not-self. Enlightenment is also seeing clearly directly with realisation the Four Noble Truths, in that suffering is attachment and the causes of suffering are craving & ignorance.

    The result of enlightenment is greed, hatred & delusion (ignorance) will cease in the mind. What remains is the mental experience of liberation & peace, which is called Nibbana.

    So therefore all false ideas and conflicting emotions have been extinguished. :)
