enlightenment therapy

edited April 2009 in Buddhism Today
This is a longish, but I think rather important article that is well worth reading and spending some reflecting upon.

As virtually every book I have ever seen concerning Buddhism and therapy, this article is primarily about Zen, but it seems to me that much of what the article talks about could be applied to other Buddhist traditions as well.

From the article:

What could be more Zen than to restore the relish of the particular life?

I add some of my own comments later, as time permits.
