I tried to listen to one of those Lam.Rim radio teaching by Geshe Lhundrup Sopa but couldn't understand a word (english is not my first language so unless its quite clear I don't understand it). I got one by Tenzin Palmo I really enjoyed though. Inst she the one who spend like 12 years in a cave?

Yep, that's her. I can't recommend Cave In The Snow, though. Quite an irritatingly written book, in places.
