edited November 2009 in Buddhism Basics
Has anyone read How to See Yourself as You Really are (BOOK), by the Dalai Lama? Can you tell me if it's good?

    Looks quite advanced?

It has some advanced stuff but it's written so lucidly that it'll be worth buying, especially if it's at a price you can afford.

The Middle Way: Faith Grounded in Reason is another excellent new book by His Holiness. It has some similarities to Seeing Yourself as you Really are but it goes into more detail on dependent origination, the four noble truths, and the 12 links of dependent origination.
