I'm thinking now that every single sentient being is a Buddhist, just doesn't know it. or the terminology we use,
We all want happiness,
We all suffer in delusion.
Ultimately I think Buddhism is for everyone....I don't know maybe some of you remember, once I posted about my friend who told me "YOU aren't a buddhist, idiot, you are drinking, and doing things wrong"
and it really bothered me,
but I realize I am a Buddhist, it's just that my buddhism is incomplete..
my friend thinks that if you say you are buddhist, you are instantly a buddha...or super human lol... NO
it's like my kung fu... MY KUNG FU is weak,..weak as hell... it takes PRACTICE PRACTICE ......to master..
you know...we are the lucky ones to hear about this path of Dharma...you know? because we have words and concepts to define our longing for PEACE, HAPPINESS , ETC ...
and we have techniques to help us get there... like ...in kungfu, to TRAIN . we even have the friggin SANGHA!!!!! which is sick good...
other people don't have such guidance... some people don't even know they need guidance... they think they are good how they are, and then, they fkin FREAK out when they or someone they know dies, or is dying..when they suffer....I'm starting to think that we have a duty.
every Buddhist. has a duty I'm starting to speculate.... (even siddartha gotama..or shakyamuni.. our buddha, was reluctant to spread his message, until it occurred to him he had a DUTY) tell me what that duty is?

I don't know if we have a duty other than to live life. But as we follow the path, if there is any truth in it, people will see that truth, see our stability, and be attracted to it.
