I read this in my book (the snow lions turquoise mane ....wisdom tales from Tibet by lama surya das) a truly brilliant book, I love it as I don't read for long periods and all the tales are short and of course packed full of wisdom.

All things are primordially pure and perfect,
clear and transparent,
like this crystal.
Like the radiant light of a crystal,
whatever forms appear to manifest before us
arise as the uninhibited creative expression
of sheer luminosity,
which is always spontaneously present-
the light by which we see
