Wesak dates

I am confused about Wesak dates. I thought that Wesak was always the Full Moon in the sun sign of Taurus. Yet, it seems to be the Full Moon in May, May 27, my time.

Could someone clarify for me.

    I don't think it's the sign of the Taurus, I think it has to do with the constellation. From the wikipedia: "As of 2002<sup class="plainlinks noprint asof-tag update" style="display: none;">[update]</sup>, the Sun appears in the constellation Taurus from May 14 to June 19. In tropical astrology, the Sun is considered to be in the sign Taurus from April 20 to May 21, and in sidereal astrology, from May 16 to June 15."
    This means that May 27 (my birthday!) or May 28th would be correct this year.

    Thank you. I had not thought of that. I notice that the Torkom Saraydarian organization is celebrating in April, so I am awaiting a reply from them too.

    In my brief research, I could not find any links between Torkom Saraydarian and Buddhism. He is mystic or new age or something.

    I have talked to Gita Saraydarian, daughter of Torkom Saraydarian. She runs the Torkom Saraydarian Foundation. www.tsgfoundation.org. It is their esoteric belief that Wesak is celebrated according to the moon, so the first full moon after the sun enters Taurus is the Wesak celebration, no matter what the month is. This year everything is early, so it is not in May as is usual, but in April.

    Symphony of the Zodiac is a wonderful book by Torkom explaining the zodiac esoterically.
