To be honest, I've only skimmed it (so maybe I'm not the best judge). I got turned off by the importance he put on how you can count up the number of syllables in the New Testament and by means of all sorts of mathematical manipulations, come up with the number 108 which is supposedly holy to Buddhists and voilá, proof that there's a connection.

Much as I would like to turn up evidence of contact between early Christianity and First Century Buddhism, I think this article is a load of post hoc ergo propter hoc.

At the end of the day, it's all a little ho-hum. If we know our own hearts, minds and souls, everything else is surely superfluous...? (Not saying we do, but getting to know is half the fun!) :winkc:

After reading each article you have listed. I think it is very interesting that people are still trying to unite the religions of this world. What I wonder about is why? Why is it so important to them to unite Buddhism with Cristianity? And Visa Versa?

I think it's because people need to be "right". Not everyone but most people.
