Hello, I am new to the path of Buddhism and i'm looking for some books on The Four Noble Truths. Something like a way to study them. If not a book maybe a web site to study.

Thank you for your help,

Mike

I think the best way to really learn the Four Nobels is expirience where they play out in your life, was well as lives of people around you. (Well, mostly for the first two... :P) And really understanding the last two will come when you see, in my opinion, the true nature of suffering and the true nature of desire, want, greed etc. When you really study these... everything will flip around into perspective, hopefully, and your research, time and awareness will all be worth it.

Good luck on your path of study... here is a good one to look over: http://www.lamayeshe.com/index.php?sect=article&id=380

I've found the self-study section on BuddhaNet to be useful. One resource would be the webpage at http://www.buddhanet.net/4noble.htm from that site. Really the best way to learn is to read multiple sources, maybe even try audio lectures (such as those from the Venerable Bhikkhu Bodhi). Sometimes it takes looking at something from the perspectives of many different authors on that subject before your mind can connect the dots.
