He is the leader of Plum Village, one of the closest monasteries for me.was thinking about visiting Plum Village soon, so this could be helpful to make up my mind.

I want to add my voice to recommending Plum Village. I think that Sangha is most accessible to our western way of thinking and they don't have a lot of really 'out-there' stuff going on. I think they also have excellent newbie programs; especially geared toward younger folks and lots of making friends, singing and laughing, too!!
