Rights = Buddha, Wrongs = Devil

This is very very simple to understand about Buddhism. I don't know why people keeps going around and around and teach a little of this and a little of that. Waste so much time and energy.

This is what you need to know:

1. Think yourself as Buddha, what could you possibly do?
- You could do many many good things and right things. right?

If you think yourself as a Buddha, you wouldn't engage in bad things. What goes around comes around and that is how things work.

Also, there is cause and effect:

If you don't study well for your exam, you would fail.
If you don't help others, don't expect help from others.
If you swear in someone's face, you will get punch at.
If you exceed the maximum high way speed limit, you will get caught.
If you eat non-healthy food, you will more likely to get sick.
If you receive free money (donation) or on welfare, you will owe people and need to be repay one way or another.
If you don't go to work on time, you will get terminated.
If you lie (good lie/bad lie), it is always a lie.
If you try to help a sick person, make sure you know how to help, don't just jump and hug and give, YOU will get sick and could not help others.

The list goes on an on. There are many more but think for moment about this mini-story below and see what you get out of it.

====
Here the story goes:
Mr. A is practicing Buddhism. He has a Buddhist teacher and told him to avoid eating 12 kinds of animal meat which of those are the 12 Chinese Zodiac animals (Dog, Pig, Rooster, Dragon, Ox, Sheep, Horse, Rabbit, Snake, Monkey, Rat, Tiger 'not in order'). Later on, he met this very very bright man, Huynh Phu So (Britannica encyclopedia) who people considered as the Buddha, told him not to eat only 2 kinds of animals. Mr. A was curious and asked why only 2 instead of 12 that my teacher told. This bright man said to Mr. A that you only need to avoid 2 kinds of these animals and you should be perfect. One animal that does not have children or carrying birth and one that does not have eggs or carrying eggs. Mr. A now gets it. He doesn't need to remember those animal names or what if they are called differently in another language.
====

Don't you think this teaching is very simply and a very powerful method? It tells you to make your own decisions on what and what not to eat. If Mr A. avoids eating the 12 animals, then he could eat dinosaurs/frog/elephants, etc. You don't just follow the rules, you need to understand it.

Finally, everything develops differently. If you have done many good things, you will eventually entering a better world, a better family, or a better environment this includes Buddha's world and remember one thing if you done evil acts, don't expect the Buddha or God to bring you to his Kingdom. So praying is useless unless you have done good on your part.

Please please please use your brain and think.

    I just gave quick examples out of my head. It counts for as long as you understand what I try to deliver.

    I am distracted, and shouldn't have replied at all, illustrating the importance of right speech!:)
    What I did read seems sensible enough!

    At least I wrote it in English. I don't know how many people would be very frustrated if it had been written in Spanish or Cambodian. But I m pretty sure that Buddha would know what I meant.

    No.
    It's much simpler:

    In a word - Mindfulness.
