What is the difference between Zen and Dark Zen?

edited January 2006 in Buddhism Basics
Can anyone describe each one and then tell me the difference?

Dark Zen appears to be a somewhat self-congratulatory form of Zen which asserts that it is the origin from which Zen sprang:

If you want to study Zen, I would, once again, recommend Alan W. Watts.

Dark Zen has nothing to do with Zen or any form of Buddhism, being a completely fabricated set of 'teachings', based on fundamentalist Hindu beliefs, from a failed Zen student who wanted to set himself up as a teacher without any realisation.
