I have bumped into Machig Labdron's five slogans a while ago:

  1. Confess your hidden faults.
  2. Approach what you find repulsive.
  3. Help those you think you cannot help. Or, help those you do not want to help.
  4. Anything you are attached to, give that.
  5. Go to the places that scare you.
As you can see these are trainings in facing difficult emotions. It's not about looking at the bright side but about dealing with the emotions that arise when the shit hits the fan and you can't run or hide, i.e., when there is no bright side, or at least it is not relevant for this trainings.

I wanna find other trainings like this, where you use anger, and guilt, and sadness, and whatever it is. Please throw whatever you've got at me. :)
