Diamond Way....any good ?
Anyone come across them before.I went to one and they sound a bit strange ...not like Buddhism I have ever heard of.Are they a legitimate Buddhist group or some weird cult or what?

Personally, I would be wary of joining offshoots, when there are so many traditional, and original centres for Buddhism to choose from.
This sounds a bit cultish to me.
Do more research of your own, though.
Really, don't simply opt for one thing simply because it's close and convenient.
Fede calls it 'cultish' but no more, I think, than Sogyal Rinpoche or others who have specific groupings and expressions of Dharma practice.
In effect, you pays your money and takes your choice.
The Diamond Approach is a 'spirituality' more based on Sufism but incorporating some Buddhist-style practices. If you Google it, you can waste a few minutes that you won't get back.
It is usually considered esoteric Buddhism and is involved in tantra.
Edit: Actually, Vajrayana is known as the Diamond Vehicle. So perhaps they're not the same thing.
