What is your biggest meditation hindrance and how do you practice to overcome it?

For me, in meditation I find myself relating to thoughts in an unskillful way. I have found that labeling them and moving on is unskilful for me, as it applies a conception upon a conception, which doesn't feel right. I find it difficult to let things settle completely remaining in non-concept space.

It feels like the bursting of a bubble as something stirs from within the subtly of my mind, and as it rises, I attempt to let it hover before the place in my mind where I assign form or words or whatnot to the arising. It has gotten easier, but remains the biggest challenge of my practice. Any insight from those with experience in this space would be welcome indeed!

    With warmth,

    Matt
