What I note is that very few read through a thread and the few who do maintain perspective as to relevance. The others never see the "in depth discussion", off topic or not, but rather jump from the OP to a response.
Which is why occasionally, Moderators pop in to simply steer things in a more orderly direction, because otherwise a thread can leap around the room and end up sounding more bizarre than a game of Chinese whispers....in Chinese....
But as I mentioned much earlier, I agree this "love discussion" really should be a different thread.
I think that would be interesting.
Please feel free to get one started.

There is bliss when the winds of Roma and Kyangma [the two channels beside the spine] enter into the central channel [in the spine],
There is bliss when the bodhichitta [pure sexual energy] descends from above... and the translucent tigle [sexual energy] pervades from below.
When the white and red [male and female essences] unite in the middle [at the heart],
And the joy of a leakless body satiates one,
The whole body is suffused with undefiled rapture.
Sixfold is the bliss of the secret yogas." - The Song of the Snow Ranges

Go Milarepa!!!:D There is nothing wrong with this. Sex is a very human drive, it's just below the level of eating or sleeping. Denying oneself this is akin to aceticism to me, it's not the Middleway. When this act is fully giving, compassionate and mindful it becomes a wonderful way for my wife and I to give to one another. When having the right view of this there is nothing to become attached to.
