"Jason Lee stars as Earl, a guy who experiences karmic retribution when he wins a scratch-card lottery but immediately gets hit by a car, watching his winning ticket flutter away. Deciding he has run smack-dab into karma, the justice of the universe that dictates that good begets good, and bad begets bad, Earl makes a list of all his past sins which he's now sure he must make right."

Anyone else interested in this concept, if not for the exposure of karma itself then at least for the humourous repercussions of Earl's quest for good 'karmic retribution.'

    Every time I see the previews I role my eyes. It's getting harder and harder for me to talk to people around me about Buddhist karma since some have deeply held preconceived notions and they act like they are experts. Now, I understand there are different ideas about karma, even within Buddhism, but this show seems to be the antithesis of how I personally see karma so it is a bit frustrating.

    I guess being raised in a television-fanatic household I have become numbed to the stupors of new shows :(
